If you created a hiCONSTITUTION account in our mobile app, you can request permanent deletion of your account and the personal data we store for you. This page explains how.
How to request deletion
Option 1 — Email (recommended)
- Send an email from the same address used to register in the app.
- Subject line: Delete my hiCONSTITUTION account
- Include your registered email and, if possible, your display name.
- We will confirm and delete your account within 30 days (usually sooner).
Option 2 — In the app: Open Profile → scroll to Delete account (if available in your app version) and confirm. This permanently removes your account immediately when signed in.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove:
- Your login credentials and authentication record
- Profile information (name, email, state, mobile number if provided)
- Referral code, coins balance, and server-side quiz progress tied to your account
- Push notification tokens linked to your account
What may remain
- On your device: Bookmarks, notes, and other data saved locally stay on your phone until you clear app data or uninstall the app.
- Anonymous analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained for service improvement.
- Legal records: Information we must keep to comply with law (e.g. tax or fraud prevention) for the period required by law.
Guest / no account
If you use the app without signing in, we do not store a personal account for you. Remove local data by clearing the app’s storage in Android Settings → Apps → hiCONSTITUTION → Clear data, or by uninstalling the app.
